I only caught the last few songs of Jeremy Fisher’s sold out Oct. 22 show at the Geomatic Attic.
But it was jus
t enough to catch the essence of his set as he alternated between playing keyboards and upbeat, catchy acoustic and electric guitar.
He was backed by a full band including bassist Matt Ouimet and drummer Ryan Granville-Martin.
He told jokes and sang in an appealing tenor voice reminiscent of Paul Simon as well as more modern folk/ pop singers like Rob Szabo and Danny Michel.
He returned for a couple of encores including inviting opening act Joe Nolan on stage to play extra piano and sing harmonies on his best known song “High School.”
