Local fingerpicking wunderkind Fei Fei Du played a late announced show at the Owl Acoustic Lounge, Saturday, Aug. 13. He stepped in as Keiffer McLean wasn’t able to make the show.
As my ears were ringing from LEMF 2016 winding up in Galt Gardens, he was even more of a joy to watch, not to mention listen to, than he usually is. Talent virtually oozes out of his fingers.
He captivated a good sized audience with gorgeous guitar playing, tender fingerpicking, rhythm and pretty melodies. He even added a pretty version of the Pink Panther theme.
